Sara R Ward has been writing spoken word poetry, scripts and monologues for seventeen years. These original pieces have been performed in front of thousands of people in church services across the country and around the world. Read Sara’s full story here.

Sara writes about adoption, grief, faith, and motherhood. She’s been published on the Today Show Parenting Team, Focus on the Family Magazine (December 2017), Homeschooling Today Magazine, and Mother Verse Journal. She performs spoken word poetry and has also been a featured performer on the Listen to your Mother show. She is a photo contributor to the International Bereaved Mother’s Day film, which has received over a million views. Sara has a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology.

From small groups of women to a church of 1200 people, Sara has performed in a wide variety of settings, including conferences, workshops, classes, churches, and women’s events. She is a college writing instructor, a former church staff member, a women’s ministries leader, an adoptive mom and a worship pastor’s wife. She enjoys teaching on a variety of spiritual topics, home and family issues, adoption, grief and loss, and human trafficking issues.
